Adidas goes to the court to protect its IP rights
November 14, 2003Adidas International Corporation Limited (Netherlands) has accused AiYue Costume and Shoes Industry (Fu Jian) Corporation Limited, Mr. Wu, and Beijing JianLiJia Athletic Articles Corporation Limited of trademark infringement. Adidas sued and presented there case saying that they found the first defendant, AiYue Costume and Shoes Industry (Fu Jian) Corporation Ltd., was using a design composed of the Adidas and USA Nike Corporation logos as its own trademark. Due to the strong similarities, Adidas considers that the action of the accused party is clearly infringing on the special right of its trademark.
This case is being heard now by the Second Intermediate Court.
